I thought I should share this story with you

👉🏾 I took a content creation training with some people recently and during that training, everyone was given assignment to write certain amount of words on a topic.

Most times, I and some other guys impressed the tutor with our assignment.

After one of the assignments, the tutor asked if anyone has a website or blog where they write and I said I have a blog.

Someone replied "no wonder" ☺️

That day, it became clear that some people have been comparing themselves to me.

They forgot that even though we received the same training, we were not on the same experience level before the training.

Moral: Don't compare your one month journey to someone else's five years journey.

You don't know how long they've been in business, you don't know their educational background.

Don't compare. You're on your own journey, stick to it and grow.

I'm sharing this because this is the last week of February.

Remember when I said I was going to create an eBook this month? Okay, I failed on that goal. 😔

Too much of unexpected things came through and I needed to handle immediately.

So try again next month.💪🏾

The month has been too packed for me. School resumed online and in less than a month I'll be writing exams that I'm not even ready for, took an online content writing training (still on going), showing up every day on Instagram (I love doing that though) and keeping up with blogging, all while watching my health.

I think I deserve some accolades. 😆

March might even be more packed because of exams, I hope I get a healthy balance though.

So if you ask me how I handle these things? I'll say I don't know because truly I don't know.

I used to be very worried about my content,

🤔Am I creating what my audience need?
😏Can warriors really benefit from it?
😏Does anyone want to hear the message I have?
🤔Am I worthy or good enough to pass this message?

I was scared, wanted perfection but I realized the more I waited for the right time, the later it is.

I mean, if I started today, I'll be a day better tomorrow and six months better in six months. Instead of waiting till tomorrow or when I have it all.

See, The only way forward is to get started, whether it is starting that business or writing that book, or whatever it is.

If you do not start, the vision you have in mind will never happen.

If you start today, trust me, you'll grow and that's all that matters.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THERE'S NO PAIN?

There are days I'm not in so much pain, my hip does not hurt, fatigue's not keeping me on bed. Days when I'm okay enough.

On days like that (today's one by the way), I do my best. I love personal development so I read books on personal development or learn something new. I also watch movies (like I did today) and take pictures😉

But most importantly, I try to make use of the day in my business and personal life.

WHAT'S YOUR MOTIVATION?

This is not one of those posts I planned, I created after reading @theimabong latest post (check it out before she publish another) and I thought I should share my motivation with you.

Apart from getting external motivation, we all have different internal things that motivates us to keep going. It is important for you to hold on to that motivation when things get hard.

For me, my biggest internal motivation is pain.

Yeah, avascular necrosis pain.

I know the solution to the pain but I'm scared of having the surgery here especially in a government hospital not just because of the stories I've heard but also because of the poor welfare (which I've witnessed myself) of our health system.

The pain always motivates me to keep trying and I know soon enough, I'll be where I hope to be.

They serve as reminders.

I was reminded when I reread an old book that to change mindset, I needed to check what I believe and tell myself.

I remembered writing everything that I use to believe and things holding me back into my journal and replacing them with more healthy beliefs.

By using these words constantly, I've had really impressive change.

Actually this has been my list almost everyday for a while now only that I add music and binge watching movies.

I've been at home since like forever and this has nothing to do with Covid-19.

Sometimes I blame it on avascular necrosis, "hey I have avn, I'm not supposed to stress my leg so I'll just stay indoor" but deep down I know it's a lie.

I'm just too comfortable at home. Who else is smelling indoor already?

If you've been busy all week, you need to take this list serious my dear. You know rest very important for warriors. Cheers to the weekend.
